    From the Eisenberg castle ruins you have an excellent view of the Hopfensee, Forggensee and Weißensee and the foothills of the Alps including the mountain panorama. When the weather is reasonably clear, the royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau are clearly visible.
