The highlight of the treetop path on the Sommerberg in Bad Wildbad is an observation tower, which is predominantly made of wood. The entrance to the tower takes place at about 5 m height from the treetop path. At the top of the tower there is an observation platform at about 40 m height, from which one has a great view over the treetops. If you want, you can take the 55-meter-long tunnel slide back down here.
Opening hours: all year round, end of November to beginning of January only on weekends, in winter always closed in a few days. More information: baumwipfelpfad-schwarzwald.de
Admission: adults 9,50 €, children (6 - 14 years) 7,50 €

The walk through the treetops is impressive in itself, but the highlight is, of course, the fantastic observation tower. Enjoy the sweeping views over the verdant Northern Black Forest as you spiral up the tower. If you want, you can slide back down on the slide. The entrance fee is well worth it.
