라인쉬 헤세‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪20‬개의 호수

이곳은 1990년에 자연 보호 구역으로 지정된 운덴하임과 한하임 지자체 사이의 54헥타르 면적의 지역입니다. 이곳에는 자연에 가까운 하천 흐름을 가진 젤츠강 저지대, 광활한 갈대밭, 사초 군락, 습지, 깊은 습기를 띤 농경지가 포함되어 있습니다. 이곳에서는 왜가리, 쇠물닭, 붉은머리할미새, 쇠물닭 등 40종 이상의 조류가 다시 번식하고 있습니다. 조류 보호 구역의 일부로서, 희귀 동물 종의 이동, 확산 및 유전적 교환을 가능하게 하기 위해 유럽 전역의 FFH 서식지를 연결하는 보호 구역 네트워크인 NATURA 2000의 관할 하에 있습니다.

Through open terrain dotted with gnarled oaks and pines, we reach the Seven Ponds, which are arranged in a cascade. Benches invite you to linger here.

The path has descended beautifully. Nettles reach up to the handlebars. It's a shame, things used to be different.

This landscape and bird sanctuary is precisely called “Vorderer Roxheimer Altrhein-Krumbeeräcker”, is 25.3 hectares in size and belongs to the Rhine-Palatinate area. There are rare plant and animal species, as you can see on the Nabu information boards. It's relatively easy to guess what crumbberries - i.e. potatoes - have to do with it. A circumnavigation of this arm of the Old Rhine is just over 5 km long. You can stop off at Seestube Bader, for example, where the food and service are always good (www.seehotelbader.de).

Lake Eicher is connected to the Rhine, so the lake is surrounded by a holiday resort with weekend homes, many of which have their own private jetty. Several spots offer excellent views of the lake. The terrace of the Kleine Kneipe (small pub) is located directly on the shore and offers cyclists and hikers a great place to take a break. Lake Eicher is not really a swimming spot, however.

The replica of the world-famous Rialto Bridge can always be admired in the period around the gondola festival (beginning of July); after that it will be dismantled again.
