The Richard Wagner Head is part of the Bodenmaiser Riegel, one of four sub-peaks of the Großer Arber. Seen from the side, it is shaped like a head. Whether one can recognize the features of the composer Richard Wagner here, we leave it to the imagination of the individual.

The Eckstein is a 1073m high peak on the Hoher Bogen. From the seating area you have a wonderful view, there is a summit cross with a commemorative plaque, which is somewhat hidden, and some foundations of the former military installations can still be found.

Around the summit cross you have a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains... and a bench to rest.

The Eckstein (1073 m) is one of the four thousand peaks on the Hoher Bogen. Since 2023 there has been a summit cross and a dedicatory plaque from a deceased person on the corner stone.

View from the Little Arber In an easterly direction, the view goes to the Großer Arber. The view extends over the Lamer Winkel to the Zellertal. To the east just below the summit is the Chamer Hütte, which was built in 1952 by the Bavarian Forest Association.

From the small Arber you have a nice view 🤩 But before that, it's time to wear it.
