콜라우 하이킹 트레일은 함부르크의 슈넬젠, 니엔도르프, 로크슈테트 지역을 통과합니다. 바그리어베크에서 시작하여 비엘로그라벤을 따라 콜라우 합류 지점까지 이어진 다음, 콜라우를 따라 하류로 계속됩니다. 포크트쾰른 거리 근처에서는 화물 순환 철도 다리에서 약 200미터 남쪽으로 떨어진 곳에서 계속 이어지며, 베겐캄프그라벤을 지나 약 400미터 후에 다시 콜라우 옆으로 이어집니다. 콜라우가 타르펜베크로 합류하기 직전에 콜라우 하이킹 트레일은 제방에서 벗어납니다. 합류 후에는 다리를 건너 타르펜베크 옆의 하이킹 트레일로 이어집니다.

A little paradise for small children is right around the corner. Children can wade barefoot in the Kollau River and play in the water. There's no danger of sunburn, as there are large trees all around.

In the middle of the Niendorf enclosure there is a large fallow deer park. Around 30 deer and stags live here. The animals can be observed particularly well from the observation platform. Sometimes they even come very close. The enclosure has been generously expanded so that the animals have more peace and quiet during the rutting season and during breeding. Very important: Please do not feed them! This harms the wild animals.

The Mutzenbecher Villa in Niendorfer Gehege stood empty for a long time and was in danger of falling into disrepair. Thanks to the commitment of many Hamburg residents, the brick building was able to be preserved. The summer house of insurance director Hermann Mutzenbecher, built around 1900, has been extensively restored in recent years and now serves as an educational and meeting place. Schoolchildren, craftsmen and students are breathing new life into the listed building.
