Surprisingly, there isn't much information available about the listed Old Town Hall (its original name, by the way). Built in 1914, the hall formed a single unit with the boys' elementary school (Kirchgasse No. 2). The relatively small hall was renovated in the early 2000s and is now the home of the Angermünde Volleyball Club (which has also owned the hall since 2004). It is also used for school sports, club sports, recreational sports, and cultural events.
