The Reiherteich in the Wermsdorf Forest is the northern end of a whole chain of lakes. It was artificially created for fish farming. The ponds were first mentioned in 1533. Today you can leisurely walk around them on beautiful hiking trails.

Beautiful! You can see and experience many birds. There had been a lot of rain in the time before our hike, the paths were often flooded and muddy. Waterproof shoes are good here!
