Pirna Town Hall. Information: A Renaissance building on the market square, later remodeled several times. At its core, it is one of the oldest buildings in the city, first mentioned in 1386.

Hardly any other historic building shapes the image of the city of Pirna as much as Pirna Town Hall. First mentioned in 1386, the town hall was originally built in the Renaissance style and later remodeled with Baroque influences. After being destroyed by fire in 1486, a new building was constructed in the late Gothic style. In addition to its function as the seat of the city administration, Pirna Town Hall also served for centuries as a trading house, where butchers, bakers, and cloth makers offered their wares at stalls. Old privately owned mill with mill museum and sawmill. Every year a 2-day mill festival takes place here with guided tours, sawing demonstrations and everything that goes with a mill festival.
