Øster Hæsinge's whitewashed church was originally built in late Romanesque brick in the 12th century. In the late Middle Ages the chancel was demolished and the church was extended to the east. The new parts were built with field stones, the transition is clearly visible in the masonry. The church tower was probably added around 1500 and rebuilt in 1701. The preserved chalk paintings in the choir vault show ornaments. In summer, the church is open to visitors daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
