The MTB trail "Black Gold" is a black-rated singletrack built for downhill fun.

This beautiful sight combines picturesque nature with exciting cultural history. The former Benedictine monastery and paper factory are now a popular destination that is perfect for a picnic. There are old, listed buildings, a small exhibition and an observation tower with a view of Jutland's largest lake, Mossoe (Mossø).

Vestbirk Sø is one of three artificial lakes created in 1924 by the dam of the Gudenå River to power the Vestbirk hydroelectric power station. The other two lakes are Bredvad Sø and Naldal Sø. We went back the same route because we liked it so much. Next you could have seen the hydroelectric power station, the former clothing factory. We wanted to use what was probably the sunniest day of our vacation to visit the beach.
