St. Vitus Church is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to Saint Vitus and located in the Frisian village of Blauwhuis. The church was built between 1869 and 1871 according to a design by the national architect P.J.H. Cuypers. The three-aisled cruciform basilica was built in the Neo-Gothic style.

The town hall in Bolsward is one of the most beautiful gems of Friesland. The richly decorated town hall was built between 1614 and 1617 and designed by Jacob Gysbert (father of Gysbert Japicx) in a Frisian mannerism style (late Renaissance). After the municipality of Bolsward merged with the municipality of Sùdwest-Fryslân in 2011, it lost its function as a town hall. The building will have a new function in the coming years: the new historical centre. A place where past and present meet with the museums, antiquity room, library and new archive storage. In short: the treasure trove of the region! The old town hall on the ground floor now houses "Blend", a catering establishment where you can dine in a pleasant and delicious atmosphere. One of the most beautiful cycle paths through Sudwest-Fryslân. On the (racing) bike watch out for oncoming traffic and walkers because of the narrow path. Bird-rich area.
