Beautiful asphalt road crossing the Val-Suzon nature reserve. The reserve has an area of 3000 ha. The natural heritage of this area is unique, it presents a rich diversity of environments: dry lawns, scree, tufa marshes located in the heart of very diverse forest habitats - from which cliffs offer landscaped viewpoints over the valley.

A pretty water tower from the end of the 19th century. "The Saussy Tower (or BREDIN Tower) is the last vestige of an original and complex water supply system intended to supply the village and a castle. Built in 1876/1878, this building is the only castle in water from France whose pump was powered by a wind turbine! It was the engineer Paul BREDIN, who imagined and financed the construction of this astonishing machinery; he had made his fortune in the silk industry and had settled in Saussy . Walk in the undergrowth

The view of Haute-Marne is unique and very beautiful. You see in all the foresters you had to cross the last days on the way to Saint Jacques de Compostelle.

Superb place in the middle of the woods, ideal for a picnic or other break. The washhouse and fountain buildings have been renovated and are magnificent. The laundry is from the 19th century, and the fountain from the 18th century. It is unusual to see a wash house so far from the village, the linen probably had to be brought on the back of mules, and who knows maybe on the back of a man or a woman. Near the washhouse, there is a pond of water, which was used to make the animals drink.
