This gate would probably have been built during the 19th century. The sponsor of this Gothic-style construction was Mr Hias Bonnet, born in Dijon in 1804, died in 1873. Former owner of the Champmonron farm which is located upstream from the gate. He would have had this vestige installed at this place linking the priory of Bonvaux to his farm. The devil figure is actually a Phrygian cap.

It is a place of curiosity that allows you to see tourist planes, microlights, gliders... on the ground, taking off and in flight. To be done in clear weather! Tourism and leisure airfield on the outskirts of Dijon. Birthplace of the aircraft manufacturer ROBIN and other aeronautical companies. Regular air shows take place there.
