This highlight takes you over the Elspeterbosweg, a good asphalt road for (racing) bikes from Elspeet to Vierhouten between the Elspeetsche heide (left) and Noorderheide (right). Very beautiful mill on the edge of the village surrounded by fields.

De Hoop flour mill is the pride of Garderen. No wonder it's still open to the public, so be sure to take a look if you're in the area. On Thursdays and Saturdays you can see how the wheat is milled. The mill is still in operation two days a week. Do you see the blades turning? Then the miller is at work!
