Het Gat van Zus is a former quarry in the woods near Garderen in the Dutch province of Gelderland. The pit is several meters deep and about 30 meters in diameter. One of the most special statues you will ever see: the Garderen Sand Sculptures. Every year there is a new theme and you will find the most beautiful works of art made of sand here. It is absolutely worth a visit.

Along the walking path are the 7 burial mounds of Bergsham. These burial mounds already attracted the attention of researchers in the 19th century. These burial mounds contain dozens of graves with cremated remains from the Middle Bronze Age. It's about people who know each other. This concerns at least 36 people who were cremated. Their ashes are buried in the burial mounds.
