The Chemin du Sabot is a beautiful, wide forest track. Its gravelly surface is exactly what gravel enthusiasts are looking for, while mountain bikers will find a nice section for leisurely pedaling between two challenging climbs.

The Bellecombe waterfall plunges into the Méaudret stream. It's a lovely little waterfall, nestled under the trees, offering welcome coolness in summer. You can admire it from its base or from a slightly higher vantage point.

Lumberjacks and stevedores took shelter in this house with their teams of horses or cows until the end of the 19th century, the wood was brought up to the pas de la Clé to be brought down to the foot of the cliff by a corridor. From there, they were transported to the Isère at Saint Gervais where rafts were formed for the south of France. Like many forest houses, it served as a shelter for the Maquisards during the last war.

The climb from the Méaudre/Autrans side is a bit steep (~10%) and sometimes technical... it's okay for the best and a bit of a challenge for novice adventurers 😉
