Dünserberg Generations Tree Conceived by carpenter Heinrich and Birgit, this trunk was felled. We thought it was wonderful that this trunk should be preserved for future generations. Richard took the trunk to Futsch, where it had to be stripped of its bark. Once the support was attached, it was carefully buried here. Now, settle down in this beautiful spot and rest your weary limbs. Winkel – Egg – Hanisberg, Dünserberg “Alpe Äussere Egg”

St. Benedict's Chapel (Dünserberg) St. Benedict's Chapel was built in 1886 by the residents of Bischa, primarily financed by Johann Jakob Hartmann. It was consecrated on October 11, 1888, by the Most Reverend Abbot Basilius I of Einsiedeln. The altar was built in the Romanesque style and painted by Father Rudolph Blättler. Two bells hang in the tower, one dedicated to St. Benedict, the other without a date. During the Second World War, one bell remained in Düns, but in 1950 it was moved to the chapel along with a new bell. The chapel was renovated in 1975 under the auspices of the Dünserberg Agricultural Community. The path on the Dünser Berg is really beautiful and, thanks to its south-facing position and the ascent from the valley, it is also beautiful in spring and autumn, especially when there is fog below. But the attempt to climb the Kopes summit was a failure. Up in the forest there are only game trails.

The Mengschlucht is a gorge in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg close to the border with the Principality of Liechtenstein, which was formed primarily during the last ice age and is traversed by the Meng. This is an area that is of particular importance ecologically (Meng Gorge with the gorge forests) and, in the lower area near the town center of Nenzing, also for local recreation for the population. Tufa, also known as spring limestone, spring tuff or stream tuff, is a young, porous, secondary sediment. It is a secondary rock because primary limestone sediments from a geological era were re-sedimented after chemical carbonic acid solution weathering and precipitation. In Europe, this type of limestone occurs under favorable conditions in karst areas of the humid, temperate warm climate zone.
