The mountain station of the Oberlech cable car is the starting point for hikes to the "Gipslöcher" nature trail as well as to the Kriegerhorn, the Mohnenfluh and to various activities along the "Green Ring".

A small hiking trail leads to the Rüfikopf summit, which is also accessible in winter. From the small peak, there is a magnificent panoramic view of an impressive mountain landscape.

If there's a lot of traffic on the ascent and descent, you should keep a close eye on whether someone is dislodging rocks or debris further up. That can easily happen there. You certainly can't go wrong with a helmet, but no one was wearing one.
