Cleopatra's Needle is a landmark rock formation that sticks out of the bluffs towards Devil's Lake. This is a great place to stop for a photo op and to admire the dramatic scenery.

The trail is nontechnical and runnable, and takes you up by Johnson Ponds and the Upper Ice Age Campground. This trail is less crowded than those by the bluffs and the lake.

The trail starts in the trees and turns into a rocky ascent up a talus field with views of the bluff. This is a fairly technical way to descend, but if you like steep climbs or want to practice your power hiking this is a great way up the bluff.

Along the water you will find a narrow paved track that winds between the rocks along the west side of Devil's Lake. You get fantastic views out across the water and up to the bluffs above.

The Canyon Road Trail is a paved sidewalk that skirts along the southern edge of Lake Delton. Here you cross Lost Canyon Creek and get views of the lake between the trees. Lost Canyon is a tourist attraction that will take you on horseback rides through the majestic gorges south of the lake.

Lake Delton is a man-made freshwater lake and a popular attraction in the Wisconsin Dells. The lake was formed in 1927, and its banks are now lined with resorts and tourist attractions.
