Haus Nateln is beautifully situated in a moat fed by the Ahse. The current manor house was built around 1800 and has a history that goes back even further to the year 1285. At that time, the Clodt family's seat was located there. Before that, however, another knight family, the Rump, is said to have lived there.

A beautiful bike path along the old railway embankment. Two more comments: 1) Pay attention to the right-of-way on the crossing roads (sometimes people drive quite fast there). 2) The section on Pendlinger Strasse is a bit annoying (poor road surface - possibly because you're used to the bike path along the railway line).

The old railway embankment is also known as the avenue cycle path. Great bike path, asphalted and straight.
