The Sültemühle used to be accessible for up-close tours. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible. The mill was powered by a stream, the basins of which can still be seen in the undergrowth. Rapeseed was once ground in the mill. The stream later continued along the railway tracks towards Fürstenau. There was once also a restaurant, frequented by trolley drivers (the route between Fürstenau and Bippen). The bridge over the road is still used for trolley traffic today and can offer a beautiful view depending on the season. Since the Sültemühle is closed and privately owned, I advise against staying on the property.
