Since there have been no “harsh” winters in recent years, the storks have also found sufficient food.

Be sure to take binoculars and/or a camera with sufficient zoom: many different species of ducks can be observed during the breeding season (garganey, pintail, wigeon, mallard, gadwall and much more)

Small update: We are now just before Christmas (December 20th, 2023) and you can still occasionally see storks in the Wetterau meadows around Wölfersheim... 😳👍👍😃
