The Catholic Church of St. Jude Thaddaeus in Stockheim, a district of the municipality of Glauburg in Hesse, was built in 1927 and is dedicated to the apostle Jude Thaddaeus. It is considered a significant art monument and is a stylistically pure Art Deco building. The church was built to provide a central and easily accessible church for the Catholics scattered throughout the predominantly Protestant Wetterau region. The exterior of the church is unassuming, but the interior surprises with a ceiling in intense shades of blue.
