Valerio on the Old Rhine Monument to "Leonce and Lena" is intended to make the famous son of the Büchner town more visible The statue of Valerio stands on the viewing platform on the Old Rhine. For a few days now, the Riedstadt district of Erfelden has had a small attraction. On the initiative of BüchnerFindetStatt and with the permission of the Riedstadt trade association and the Büchner town, a sculpture was erected on the railing of the viewing platform on the Martin Roth Bridge to Kühkopf. You can see the tramp Valerio from the Büchner comedy "Leonce and Lena". Valerio is Prince Leonce's companion on his escape from his wedding to Lena. The monument aims to make the famous son more visible in his hometown, alongside the two establishments BüchnerHaus in Goddelau and BüchnerBühne in Leeheim.
