The Hopfengarten is located in the Wilhelminenaue, embedded in the grounds of the former 2016 State Garden Show, which has been freely accessible since April 2017. In addition to great viewing points and event areas, the park offers a wide range of leisure activities such as beach volleyball, a dirt bike facility, a hedge theater and a lake stage, as well as relaxed areas for barbecues and picnics.

Nice, well-organized park, cozy and sheltered from the wind. There are a few benches set up for relaxing, which I sometimes use... But for me as a biker, it's also important that there are toilets and that the facility is kept clean.

From the hill at the Hopfengarten in the 2016 State Garden Show area, you have a beautiful view of the renaturalized course of the Red Main through the Wilhelminenaue.

The Glass Trail runs through the spa park and the South Trail runs past it. The local hiking trails do not lead through the spa park.
