The Stäffeleinsbrunnen fountain is located north of Rothenburg on the path into the Steinbach valley. It is the last remnant of the former village of Obersteinbach, which the Rothenburg city council had demolished around 1400.

In the middle of the hiking trail, you suddenly see this beautiful little fountain. To the left of it is a bench where you can rest. So nothing stands in the way of cooling off on a hot day.
