The estimated time of 2 hours to the Hanauer Hut is, in my opinion, very generous. However, you'll have to allow 30 minutes for the Kogelseespitze. :-)

The valley station of the Simms Hut's cable car is located approximately 250 meters below the Alpine Club Hut. The hike to the Frederic Simms Hut takes another 30-45 minutes.

As a lowlander, I wasn't sure that the last stretch from the Kaufbeurer Haus up to the Bretterspitze would be feasible for an inexperienced person like me. But I was lucky, because in the two weeks before, the DAV had cleared and marked a clearly visible path, especially over the scree fields. The last stretch up to the top was characterized by small climbs, but I never had to overcome obstacles over 1.6-1.8 m high. So more than doable, even for a beginner. However, those who climb from Hinterhochbach should bring the strength for the 1500 meters in altitude!

3€ is not too expensive for a day ticket, but the bus stop is also here and those who have the Lechtal Aktiv Card can use the bus for free.

On the way to the Simms Hütte you have to go through several short tunnels. In the 2 longest, a small lamp is an advantage.
