The Hölltal Hut is located very high at 1,500 meters. From here, you can also hike further up to the peaks. It's very peaceful and beautiful up there.

The approach is somewhat rustic with some scrambling (I), but there are views as far as Plansee to the southwest, as well as the northern and eastern Ammergau ranges. Since there are no trails directly from the north, the whole route is a bit drawn out, either via Plansee and Schönjöchl or, a little shorter, via Teufelstal, where there are often steep grassy areas and areas where you can fall off!

Worth seeing, good footwear, and you should be more drastic. The trail is very slippery when wet due to the dirt and roots.

A somewhat exposed and narrow section over a rocky ridge. Secured with an old rope that I wouldn't really trust.
