The summit is just a lot of fun, especially up the gully. Helmet is definitely recommended. The climbing difficulty is not particularly high (1+), but you should be able to cope with exposed sections. Wayfinding simply by regular markings, but partly a bit faded.

great location with a really nice view. Unfortunately, the Alm was already closed at the end of September despite the wonderful weather (but nobody could have foreseen that) and we couldn't stop off. Maybe it will work on our next visit.

Descent "G" from the Gehrenalpe directly down to the Hahnankamm - Bahn valley station in the last third very steep and slippery after rain. Better to stay on the gravel road here and run the longer switchbacks!
