Cascina Centro Parco is located within Parco Nord Milano in Sesto San Giovanni. Originally an old farmhouse, it has been renovated and serves as the park's operational headquarters and reference point.

In 2018, the "Sun Strac" refreshment point was opened, dug into the embankment of the nearby cycle/pedestrian walkway, welcoming visitors year-round. The forecourt, with its steps leading down to the lake, hosts water games, theatrical performances, concerts, and markets.

They're usually located at crossroads within the park. They're surrounded by benches, some of which are circular, offering a cool spot to rest on hot days.

The bocce ball game, combined with card tables, is a free-to-use facility popular with park users, mostly seniors. These facilities offer additional opportunities for recreation and to enhance the park's life for all visitors, without the need to create professional sports facilities. True social gathering places, the bocce courts come alive year-round and, in the spring, thanks to the Voluntary Environmental Monitoring Service, host the now traditional Palio Boccistico Parco Nord Milano.

The Montagnetta della Breda in Sesto San Giovanni is perhaps the most significant landscape redevelopment project undertaken by Parco Nord in the first decade of its existence, between the 1980s and 1990s. A former storage site for "marogna" (inert waste produced by the combustion of coal in the Breda blast furnaces), the Montagnetta was later abandoned and transformed over time into a veritable open-air landfill. The project to transform the landfill into a green slope filled with plants was carried out by then-director Francesco Borella in collaboration with Andreas Kipar, a young German landscape architect. The two designers worked side by side with limited financial resources, simply shaping approximately 50,000 cubic meters of fertile soil and planting trees and shrubs.
