Admire the Visconti Castle of Abbiategrasso

Commissioned by Ludovico il Moro, Villa Cascina Sforzesca was built at the beginning of the 1400s as a vast hunting estate with a productive value with the square-plan farmhouse building at its centre. This has four rectangular pavilions arranged at the corners and used as a residence.

On the dirt road that leads to Santa Maria del Bosco you can admire water mills in perfect condition.

Cascina Portalupa is one of the most beautiful and historic farmhouses in the whole of Lomellina. The characteristic name of the farmhouse is supposed to derive either from the presence of packs of wolves (being the place wooded and rich in fauna) or from a nickname.
