この泉は19世紀、カルテンロイテベンが温泉地であり、冷水浴で知られていた時代に重要でした。デュレン・リージングの右岸に湧き出るレベッカ泉は、ウィンターニッツ冷水浴場に供給されていました。戦間期の温泉事業の衰退とともに、この泉も忘れ去られました。

元の名前Chemerstainは、貴族の家系からではなく、オーストリアの宮内長官であったペルヒトルスドルフのオットー2世の称号に由来すると推定されています。

比較的シンプルにデザインされた教会空間は、3つの軸を持つ古代の凱旋門の形をした主祭壇の壁で最高潮に達します。その中央の開口部には、祭壇、恩寵の聖母像、祭壇画が収められています。
