For now, the north end of the Campion Trail as it comes up against the East Belt Line Road.

Near the south end of the Campion Trail. When fully complete, this multiuse trail will be about 22 miles long. Right now, it's a little more than 17, with most of its length winding alongside the Elm Fork Trinity River. There is actually one more trailhead to the south, at California Crossing Park.

The Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge, also known as the James D. Pfluger Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge, spans 700 feet over Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin, Texas. Opened in 2001, this shared-use bridge connects the north and south sides of the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail. It features a distinctive "double curve" design supported by curved concrete piers and a concrete deck on top of weathering steel plate girders. The bridge is named after James D. Pfluger, a local architect who designed the trails surrounding Lady Bird Lake.

The goal of the Spring Creek Greenway is to provide a 40-mile corridor of forested trail that will include habitat for eagles, foxes, salamanders, and more. Due to all of the trees along the route, and its proximity to Spring Creek, this is a great trail to ride to escape the heat.

Free to enter and explore, Jess H. Jones Park & Nature Center is a 312-acre (126 ha) nature reserve. Nestled on the banks of Spring Creek, its many trails are a delight to explore, while guided tours are also available. The reserve is part of the Spring Creek Greenway and you can follow the Greenway trail from here too.

Buescher State Park sits on 1,016 acres, with 30 acres of it comprising Buescher Lake. The park offers fishing, boating, a swimming pool, and hiking/mountain bike trails. Additionally, the 12-mile road between Buescher and Bastrop State Parks is ideal for road cycling.
