The Naviglio Langosco (in Lombard: Nivili Langosch) is a canal fed by the Ticino River. The purpose of this canal is to irrigate the fields in the Novarese and Lomellina regions. It was realized in the 17th century on the initiative of Count Guido Langosco. The count ordered the construction of the canal, which was designed by engineer Pietro Antonio Barca, and work began in 1613 and was completed in 1665.
