Great for swimming, very hidden

We accidentally rode this route, but it's also possible with a regular bike. Just stay on the "path." Only the last stretch to Wellspang is very narrow. We dismounted here because we occasionally encountered walkers with strollers.

The private access begins about 20 meters after entering the road and is marked by a "Private" sign. Unfortunately, this is frequently ignored!

The trail through the moor was well worth the long journey. However, we didn't find the lilies of the valley we were looking for.

Picture 1 (avenue) is not Kiesperdiek. The avenue is Baustrup. Kiesperdiek is a beautiful little thoroughfare. The road lies on the northern edge of the Catharintal Forest.

The "Robbers' Cave" is located in the Idstedt Forest south of the town of Idstedt. Coming from Schleswig, it is located 150 meters behind the "Wilhelmslust" junction on the right-hand side of the road. The Idstedt Robbers' Cave is one of the few passage graves in Schleswig-Holstein that is still in good condition. It consists of a chamber and a structurally separated passage. The Neolithic megalithic structure dates from the Funnel Beaker culture and was built between 3,500 and 2,800 BC. To this day, it has not been proven whether robbers ever stayed inside the cave.
