Many visitors to the town hall in Eggebek rub their eyes in amazement: There, quite cheekily, peers a white horse from the glass facade – the proverbial white official horse. Bernd Maro designed the colorful figure, which is comically exaggerated and continues into the interior of the building with its rear end. You can almost hear the loud neighing as the white horse winks at you. The cheerful sculpture quickly became a popular photo subject, not just at weddings.
