🤩 splendid views of the plain

The climb on the Strada al Monfenera is a panoramic and historic route that winds through chestnut, beech and pine woods, offering suggestive views and a completely asphalted surface. Although it is one of the most accessible routes to climb Monte Grappa, it has challenging sections with gradients between 8% and 12% in the first six hairpin bends. After passing Monfenera, the route continues with ups and downs and hairpin bends towards Monte Tomba and Monte Palon, passing through Salto della Capra and Val delle Mure, where there are tunnels dug into the rock. The route is full of evidence of the Great War, until reaching the Sacrario di Cima Grappa (1,718 meters). From here, the panorama extends from the Dolomites to the Venice Lagoon, making this climb a unique experience between nature and history.

If the Rocca is the symbol of Asolo, Porta Colmarion is the symbol of the people of Asolo. It is a building of great value, located in an area of the historic center of considerable tourist interest, between Via Collegio and the stairway leading to the Rocca. Restored in 2021, Porta Colmarion is the only medieval gate dating back to the second half of the 1300s, which has remained practically intact over the centuries despite the historical vicissitudes of Asolo.
