The view of the lake from the north is truly beautiful. Mühlbrok is also a good place to rest. Hiking around Lake Bordesholm is also worthwhile.

Here at the lake there's a large lawn for sunbathing, some exercise equipment, a playground, and a very small swimming area. I was here in winter. It's quite possible that swimming isn't allowed and that it's more for dogs.

There's a drinking water dispenser here. It's made of stainless steel; you could walk right past it. It was very useful today...

The route is not designed as a cycling route, and bicycles are prohibited in some areas. The majority of it is open only to bicycles, not e-bikes.

Beautiful side route via Ziegelhof towards Hoffeld

From this point you can see through the narrows at Mühbrook all the way to Einfelder Lake. Especially in winter, when the sun is low, you can see beautiful reflections when looking south in the early afternoon.

You can easily walk along the ring wall of the historic site. A footpath winds through a double row of ancient oaks.
