The Madonnina dell'Oglio is a satellite sanctuary of Santa Maria del Fonte in Caravaggio, dedicated to the famous apparition

BRIDGE CLOSED: on May 4, 2025 I found the entire bridge section closed, I think it had been like that for a long time. I tried to cross anyway but in fact there are large fallen logs to climb over on the path, but above all the last section of the bridge collapsed to the bottom due to a huge post. Let's hope they fix it, and soon. 😭

04-05-2025: BRIDGE CLOSED because it collapsed in several places due to huge trees that fell. Closed to traffic, you can only pass by climbing over logs and a piece of bridge that fell almost into the water and is blocked. AVOID. Let's hope they fix it soon.

On the side of the sanctuary there is a cycle path that goes from Soncino to Orzinuovi

The route is paved for almost its entirety, the rest is dirt but easily passable!

unfortunately the storm made a tree fall on the bridge destroying the last stretch a real shame
