The central trail is open almost year-round (except during breeding season) via wooden walkways and dirt sections. I recommend walking in complete silence out of respect for the animals and people who frequent it. Due to the mud, I also recommend wearing appropriate footwear. Also remember to pay the €2 ticket at the ticket machines located at each entrance.

The Sebino Torbiere Nature Reserve, declared a "wetland of international importance" according to the Ramsar Convention and a Site of Community Interest (SCI) of the Natura 2000 Network, is considered a priority area for biodiversity in the Lombardy Po Valley. This is due to the variety of habitats and species, aquatic-marshland, valuable or of community interest present in the territory, rare or at risk of extinction in Lombardy and Italy. It is an area of 360 hectares, mainly composed of reed beds and bodies of water surrounded by cultivated fields, roads and houses. It includes: the Lame (vast expanse of bodies of water profiled by banks, the result of the excavation of a peaty deposit), the Lamette (a kind of peaty lagoon to the north, on the lake), some basins to the south and west (result of excavations of clayey deposits, up to 10-15 meters deep and with a clearer appearance, in some of which fishing is still permitted), some adjacent meadows and cultivated fields.

The monastery is a jewel of art, history and architecture overlooking the Sebino peat bogs. Starting from 1083 it began to carry out important territorial functions, the complex belonged to the Cluniac monks of the Cluny Abbey for around four centuries. Don't miss the beautiful Romanesque church full of frescoes, the Oratorio dei Disciplini (today known as the Sala dei Disciplini) from the Baroque era, the small internal cloister and an intricate succession of rooms that lead to the pigeon house. Currently the monastery is privately owned, except for the church which was donated to the parish of Provaglio. To visit it, consult the timetable on the website.

My advice is to go up from Adro and follow the circular path from the left in a clockwise direction, going around the mountain and going up, leaving the lake behind and then going down the steepest direct route. It is the longest ring that can be done in this place and also my favorite.
