The McDade Recreational Trail is an almost 30-mile long trail that runs from Hialeah Recreation Area to Milford Beach. The trail is mostly flat and follows the Delaware River for most of its trajectory.

This section of the Heritage Rail Trail goes through the North York Borough Park. The borough itself has a rich history, dating back to the 18th century. You can enjoy a peaceful journey as you follow Codorus Creek.

John Rudy Park is a great 150 acre public park. It has benches, a picnic area and restrooms. It is also one of the trail heads for the York County Heritage Trail.

Duff Park is a great green park near Murrysville. The park has a flat bike trail, the Funk Bikeway, that runs along Turtle Creek. There are also some more challenging trails in the park. In addition to the bike trails, the park has picnic tables, a pavilion, and restrooms.
