🏰 If you're cycling along the Moselle Cycle Path, the section near Lieser offers one of the most impressive views of the castle in the entire region. Since the cycle path runs directly along the riverbank here, you'll have the castle almost constantly in sight.

🔭 The view from Kues across to Bernkastel is the classic "sweet side" of the twin towns. Since Bernkastel lies directly at the foot of the steep vineyards and is crowned by Landshut Castle, Kues offers an impressive vertical panorama.

🔭 Looking across the Moselle River from Bernkastel towards the Kues district, you'll be treated to some of the most beautiful panoramas of the Middle Moselle region. Because Kues lies on the inside of the Moselle loop and rises gently to the Kues Plateau, it's particularly easy to see from Bernkastel.

It connects the rugged Volcanic Eifel region with the charming Moselle Valley and runs almost entirely along a former railway line.

🌳 Burgen is a state-recognized resort town nestled in an idyllic side valley of the Middle Moselle. Unlike many typical Moselle villages, the historic town center lies about a kilometer from the riverbank along the Frohnbach stream, giving Burgen a unique, almost enchanted character.

🏘️🍇 The old town of Bernkastel-Kues is the heart of this famous Moselle wine town and is considered one of the best-preserved and most picturesque historical ensembles in the region. The town, which consists of the two districts of Bernkastel (on the right bank of the Moselle) and Kues (on the left bank), is particularly known for the Bernkastel district with its historic market square.

🏰🍷 Lieser Castle on the Moselle River is a magnificent historicist building that now serves as a luxurious castle hotel. The striking castle is located in the wine-growing village of Lieser, near Bernkastel-Kues, and has been a listed building since 1981.
