It's no wonder the Teufelsmauer is so often photographed. It's located directly on the hiking trail and the Schwarzen Pockau, and it's a wonderful place to watch the climbers.

We now walk through the valley, the rocks rising up beside us. At the side of the path, we find the mouth of the Tiefen Blühend Glück tunnel. We get a view of the water again, a small path leading directly up to it. We now stand on a rock in the middle of the water. A short distance further, now directly along the water, we walk through this landscape, which nature has shaped here. The loud rush of the Schwarze Pockau river, the mountains around us, rustic and mystical, simply beautiful. We cross the river, the rocks rising before us like a giant. The path now leads us further downhill and we reach the actual route again in Pobershau. Stone arch bridges are typical of the historical infrastructure in the Ore Mountains. They were built to cross rivers and streams and are often very robust and durable. Their construction, with brick arches, blends harmoniously into the natural landscape. There are several such bridges in the Black Pockau Valley, particularly in the area between Pobershau and Kühnhaide, where the river flows through deep gorges and forests. They often connect hiking trails along the banks of the Black Pockau or cross the river to provide access to the adjacent slopes and attractions such as the Green Ditch, the Nun's Rocks, or the Talkanzel. * Hiking and nature experience: These stone arch bridges are not only functional structures, but also important elements of the nature experience in the Black Pockau Valley. The valley of the "Schwarze Pockau," often simply called the Schwarzwassertal. In Kühnhaide, opposite the Schwarzwassertal guesthouse, there is a free hiking parking lot from which you can start your tour through this beautiful area.
