スロバキア側のモラヴァ川沿いにある多くの旧掩体壕の建物の一つです。掩体壕は1938年から建設が始まりましたが、完成せず、したがって稼働することはありませんでした。

現代的で、かつての国境・税関の建物で、今日では非常に機能的な再利用がされています。

かなり近代化された鉄道橋で、現在のルートの隣には、以前のルートに使用されていたと思われるコンクリートの支柱があります。

自転車道の脇にある多くの掩体壕のうちの1つ。ベンチとダンベル設備は、まるで掩体壕の兵士たちのレクリエーションとして役立っていたかのようです。

公式サイクリングロード沿いの景観的に魅力的な場所です。

Memorial to the Victims of the Iron Curtain. It is a rust-colored iron sculpture deliberately reminiscent of a broken border element – raw, angular, open. Engraved are the names and dates of those who died trying to escape from Czechoslovakia to the West. The memorial stands on the banks of the Morava River, where the heavily guarded border with the neutral zone of Austria once ran. Today, it is part of a small memorial area overlooking the Danube, Devín Castle, and the open borderland. It is a quiet place of remembrance that, with its minimalist design and raw materials, makes the pain of separation visible – while simultaneously honoring the hope for freedom.

The U Rytiera restaurant is located directly at the foot of Devín Castle near Bratislava and is ideal for a rest stop while cycling – especially for cyclists on the Danube Cycle Path or on a tour along the Morava River. This simple, rustic restaurant offers typical home-style dishes such as soups, delicious pizza, and Slovak classics at reasonable prices. In summer, the large terrace with views of the surrounding countryside is a great place to linger. For cyclists, the restaurant is a practical, convenient stopover – especially after visiting the castle or on the way back to Bratislava.
