Great bridge, beautiful design.

Zaber estuary

Wide bridge over the Enz for cyclists and hikers with a very good view of the water.

The market square offers a panoramic view of the town hall, the town church and the facades of the houses that were built after the town fires of 1693 (in the north) and 1784 (in the south). The fountain with the lion, the town's heraldic animal, was built in 1947. The fountain is decorated with a biblical quote: "Do not let the sun go down on your anger" (Eph 4:26)

The cycle path was built on the railway embankment of the former Bottwartalbahn. You can still see old train stations and some railway signals along the route. Due to the slight gradient and the good surface, it is easy to cycle.

Etzlenswenden belongs to Beilstein and is located in the Schmidbach valley at an altitude of around 385 m on a steep south-facing slope. Etzlenswenden probably originated as a Franconian forest clearing settlement. The "Kelterle" with bell tower, renovated in 1981, indicates the importance of winegrowing in Etzlenswenden. Etzlenswenden was a purely agricultural street village for centuries, where cattle breeding used to predominate. The "Kelterle" is a sight to behold.
