All stages of mining can be viewed here. One section has been renaturalized, another still needs to be renaturalized but is no longer used as a mining area, and another section is still actively mined. In dry weather, the mining process is accordingly dusty.

Each mining area has its own unique characteristics. The traces left behind by open-pit mining are impressive in every mine.
