Transition to Italy, not really. It is a connection from the Defereggental to the Villgratertal.

Steep climb, rocky.

A chic, short introductory ski tour from the Brunnalm ski area with a long, scenic descent. From the Ochsenlenke view of the lonely Villgraten valleys.

Mountain saddle between Hochwand and Karnase. From here, a wonderful tightrope walk leads over the Hochwand to the Kleinitzer Törl.

A transition in the rough rock where the wind usually blows cold. At least that's how we've seen it over and over again. Before there it goes up to the Great Deggenhorn.

The beginning of the Defereggental is quite steep but not very long. But it doesn't get really nice until later in the valley.

The Öwelenke is a saddle 2550 m high between the Kamelisenalm and the Remasseen. From here it is about 10 minutes to the beautifully situated lakes. Great view of the Rieserferner group around the Hochgall.

describes the transition from the Lasörlinghütte over to the Neue Reichenberger Hütte. The Prägrater Törl (2848m) is part of the Lasörling Höhenweg. The transition is not easy. Scree and loose rock make the ascent difficult. A steel cable makes it easier to get on or off. Nevertheless, caution is advised on this section of the trail.
