Via Ferrata Set: If you have it with you, it's definitely safer than without.. Die Hornscharte is a 2,958-meter-high mountain pass in the Schobergruppe of the Hohe Tauern in Carinthia, Austria. It forms the challenging key section of the Wiener Höhenweg and, as an alpine trail, connects the Adolf-Noßberger-Hütte with the Elberfelder Hütte. Considered technically and physically demanding. Protection: Secured with steel ropes in the upper, exposed section (Via Ferrata difficulty A/B). Terrain: Steep ascent through a north-facing cirque with loose scree, debris, and boulders. View: First view of the Großglockner from the notch. Note: Sure-footedness, a head for heights, and alpine experience are absolutely essential. The risk increases significantly with snow or ice on the ropes.

ホルンシャルト（Hornscharte）は、オーストリア、ケルンテン州のホーエ・タウエルン山脈、ショーバーグルッペにある標高2,958メートルの峠です。ウィーン高山縦走路（Wiener Höhenweg）の難易度の高い要所を形成し、アルパインクライミングルートとしてアドルフ・ノスベルガー・ヒュッテとエルバーフェルダー・ヒュッテを結んでいます。 技術的にも体力力的にも要求が高いとされています。 安全対策：上部の露出したエリアはワイヤーロープで固定されています（クライミングルートの難易度 A/B）。 地形：北向きの圏谷を、緩んだ砂利、浮石、巨石帯を通過する急な登り。 眺望：峠からはグロースグロックナー山（Großglockner）が最初に望めます。 注意：確実な足場、高所での平気さ、アルパインクライミングの経験が必須です。ワイヤーロープに雪や氷がある場合は、リスクが大幅に増加します。 クライミングハーネスセット：持参すれば、持たないより間違いなく安全です。

エルベルフェルダー・ヒュッテからは、砂利や岩塊の上を登っていきます。足元の確実さが求められますが、良いコンディションであれば通過は十分に可能です。

Always a great subject - especially from the Glocknerwinkel region

It's a nice place to rest on the way to Böses Weibl. The flat plain also offers some panoramic views.

A beautiful plateau opens up, offering lovely views toward Böses Weibele or along the Eselsteig trail. A small hut awaits those who are caught off guard by the weather.

The first part is particularly tempting because of the extremely difficult start. It doesn't really get much better as the Pustertal High Mountain Road continues; it's more of a series of steep climbs, fast descents and heavenly views of the valley. It's definitely worth it, but it's not for the inexperienced!
