The cycle path runs as an extension of Specker Straße along the eastern shore of Lake Feisneck and leads south into the Müritz National Park. It begins on the southeastern outskirts of Waren and offers cyclists a well-maintained, smooth asphalt path. The surrounding area is characterized by dense natural scenery: reed beds stretch along the shore of Lake Feisneck, while forests flank the path to the east. The road provides an attractive gateway to the Müritz National Park and allows for nature observation and relaxation in a quiet, natural setting.

A superbly developed and well-maintained cycle path with no damage. It's fun to "float" along it, surrounded by the wonderful, rustic forests of Müritz National Park 👍.

The western part is full of potholes and not pleasant to drive on, the eastern part is a nice paved road.

Granzin is an idyllically situated village in the municipality of Kratzeburg and offers direct access to the Müritz National Park. The town is an attractive starting point or stopover point for cyclists, as the Havel Spring Lakes Cycle Path and the Müritz National Park Circuit pass through here. The routes lead through tranquil forests, past clear lakes, and offer impressive natural experiences. The Havelkrug Granzin, with its regional specialties and refreshments, invites you to linger for a while – ideal for a rest amidst pristine scenery.

The village church in Kratzeburg was built in 1786 as a simple half-timbered building and is an impressive example of rural religious architecture in the Mecklenburg Lake District. Inside, a colorfully decorated Baroque pulpit altar lends the space a special atmosphere. An art-historical highlight is the late Gothic carved altar from the second half of the 15th century, originally from the church in Schillersdorf, which depicts a detailed crucifixion scene with numerous figures. The organ was built in 1992 in the Neo-Gothic style and blends harmoniously into the overall historical setting. The church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran parish of Kratzeburg, which has been affiliated with the Neustrelitz-Kiefernheide parish since 2010.

The Granzin Mill is a historic watermill on the Havel River near Kratzeburg. First documented in 1325, it is considered one of the oldest milling sites in Mecklenburg. In 1472, the mill was donated to the Order of St. John in Mirow. From the 18th century onward, the mill was leased on a long-term lease. Picturesquely situated, it is now a popular destination for nature lovers and cyclists. A detour to the mill during a cycling tour through the Müritz National Park is particularly appealing. Since the Havel River is not navigable at this point, canoes must be carried a short distance – a small trolley railway is provided for this purpose. The surrounding area, with its quiet paths and beautiful landscape, invites you to linger and provides a unique insight into the history and nature of the region.
