The entrance to the Müritz National Park on the southern shore of Lake Müritz near Boek is a popular starting point for cycling tours through the unspoiled nature of the Mecklenburg Lake District. The national park village of Boek is home to the small, picturesque St. John's Church, a café, and a stop for the national park bus. Boek is a recommended place to rest during your cycling tour.

The cycle path runs as an extension of Specker Straße along the eastern shore of Lake Feisneck and leads south into the Müritz National Park. It begins on the southeastern outskirts of Waren and offers cyclists a well-maintained, smooth asphalt path. The surrounding area is characterized by dense natural scenery: reed beds stretch along the shore of Lake Feisneck, while forests flank the path to the east.
